Splinter Reeds' annual summer home-field advantage concert. Contemporary compositions for reed quintet with and without electronics by composers including Seare Ahmad Farhat, Jasmine Morris, Dan VanHassel, Phillip Sink and Paula Matthusen. Born and forever spiritually grounded in the Bay Area's vibrant New Music community, Splinter Reeds will perform at the Dresher Ensemble Studio, an organization they’ve held a longtime partnership with. This program will consist entirely of works they've never before performed in the Bay Area.
